Access Control and Security Alarm

Road Blockers HVM PAS 68, IWA14-1 & ASTM 2656 impact tested

Road Blockers impact tested to PAS 68, IWA 14-1 & ASTM 2656 are Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solutions that  provide high security protection from vehicle borne hostile attack and are the ultimate deterrent to unauthorised vehicles entering a site.  They are formidable visually and their robust and heavy duty structure provides a durable and reliable means of controlling vehicles into a secure area.

Road blockers are used where the highest levels of security and vehicle control are required, where larger vehicles operate or where the site risk assessment considers to be at risk from a vehicle borne hostile attack.

Our road blocker range encompasses a varying degree of protection ranging from the highest level of physically impact tested road blockers to a lower level of commercial security road blocker.

The range also includes road blockers for varying terrains and environments, including shallow foundations and surface mounting.

Testing of our road blockers has been vigorous including impact testing to BSi PAS 68, IWA 14-1 & ASTM 2656, a number of blast tests have also been carried out.

PAS68 HVM Security Barriers & Vehicle Control Barriers

PAS68 HVM Security Barriers provide vehicle access control and security. PAS 68 security barriers protect critical infrastructure from hostile vehicle intent, at the highest levels.

They operate similar to a traditional traffic control barrier and have a less aggressive appearance to other forms of HVM solutions and yet deliver a high level of physical protection for an access point.

Our range of automated & manual security barriers can be used to control access to sites or manage vehicle parking spaces.  To suit a range of road widths and environments our rising arm barriers can be integrated with most forms of access control to provide a holistic traffic management systems.

For vehicle access control working within hazardous environments, we have our ATEX and IECEx certified rising arm barrier is designed to operated in potentially explosive environments.

High Security Bollards PAS 68 & IWA 14-1 impact tested

Our High Security Bollards have all been PAS 68 or IWA 14-1 impact tested and are designed to provide a high level of security.  They are hostile vehicle mitigation solutions that protect roadways or perimeters from a vehicle with hostile intent whilst still enabling pedestrians free movement.

Static (passive) bollards provide a fixed or removable solution for public areas.

Automated active bollards can be used to control vehicle access.

Bollards are ideal for areas where public perceptions and aesthetics are a consideration but a high level of security is also required.  Shopping malls, stadiums, airports, sporting areas, public spaces and city centres are sectors that would consider impact rated static and automated bollards as a security solution.

For access control with the benefits of open IP

IP opens doors to a new world of physical access control. Smart IP Access Control solutions from Axis Communications allow you to be open, save costs and enjoy easier, more flexible installation and scalability.

Our access control solutions are truly open. So they give you the freedom to mix and match best-of breed hardware and software and to integrate them with other systems, including your surveillance systems. You can use them for everything from basic identification and entry control to advanced access management available from SISTEM34.

Our access control solutions can easily be connected to and powered by your existing IP network – you cut cabling costs. Edge solution minimizes the cost to add an extra device (controller, reader, intercom, etc.), ensures plug & play and means customers can keep adding onto or adapting our access control products in the future.

Start with what you need and easily grow your solution in steps with your business and your requirements. We offer flexible opportunities to expand and improve the security of sites and facilities, for instance by combining access control with video surveillance, audio, LPR and other solutions.

Protecting your business with smart access control

As your business starts to grow and evolve, there is an increased need to improve security and control who can access your property. Navigating the door entry systems market can be difficult. That’s why it is important that early investments in site security are open – not proprietary – so you can add new hardware and software as your business needs change, without being tied to the technology of any one vendor. Security that is open.

Access control systems are largely driven by which software and hardware solutions will best serve the needs of a business. Where one vendor may excel in best-of-breed facial recognition software, for example, they may not produce the most effective door station or surveillance for your business needs.

An open management platform means all components of your network can interact with one another. Using an open platform to manage your security network offers many benefits like cost savings, ease of use and scalability.
